Veronica B. Davis 39 of Mount Hope formally of Cowen, WV passed away Thursday March 4, 2010 after a brief illness at CAMC Memorial Hospital. She was born in Ravenna, OH on September 1, 1970 a daughter of Fred and Charlotte Holbrook Bennett of Cowen.
She was a Baptist by faith, enjoyed her family, friends and working. She was a general manager for Chili’s.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband John “Jack” Davis, Jr. of Mount Hope; son Lex Davis of Mount Hope; daughter, Miranda Davis of Mount Hope; sister, Connie Dawn Bennett Gumm of Summersville; nephews, Garrett and Grant Gumm; and Rhett Thompson; niece, Johnna Thompson. She was preceded in death by a brother Frederick Daniel Bennett.

Friends will be received Sunday March 7, from 5:-8PM at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen. Online condolences may be made at adamsreedfh.com. Services will be held 10:AM Monday March 8, at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen with Rev. Dennis Chasteen officiating and at 3:30PM at Morgan Funeral Home, Reedsville, WV with Rev. Steve Allman officiating. Interment will follow in the Arthurdale Cemetery
